About the Band
Established in 2017, Checkered Record is a dynamic five-piece alternative ska ensemble hailing from the vibrant music scene of Seattle, Washington. Fusing elements of pop, ska, reggae, and rock, their diverse repertoire caters to a wide spectrum of musical tastes. Rooted in poignant messaging and delivered with infectious energy, the band adds a touch of tongue-in-cheek irreverence for a lighthearted atmosphere.
Comprising seasoned ska veterans formerly of The Longshots and The Diablotones, Checkered Record boasts a distinctive sound that guarantees to get audiences onto the dance floor.
